Now, answer the following question in an essay between five hundred and six hundred words. “What was an empire? How were they created, and what did the people who ruled or dominated them want their empires to accomplish, and why did they want to accomplish those things?” Be sure your answer is in your own words and does not refer to anything except assigned readings and anything contained in the Blackboard Course.

Be sure to check the Similarity Report to ensure that I don’t think your answer is copied or plagiarized The only information you will need are the readings assigned in the syllabus and what I say in class.

Celebrities and Activism. 2022 Best

Celebrities and Activism.

This paper explores Celebrities and Activism.  LeBron James Activism involves efforts to promote, impede, or direct social, political, economic, or environmental change or stasis.

Celebrities and Activism.

Paper instructions: Introduction to the Assignment: Our topic: Celebrities and Activism : LeBron James Activism involves efforts to promote, impede, or direct social, political, economic, or environmental change or stasis. Various forms of activism range from writing letters to newspapers or politicians, economic activism such as boycotts or preferentially patronizing businesses, rallies, street marches, strikes, sit-ins, and hunger strikes, as well as using celebrity’s fame to advance a social concern or cause.

Celebrities and Activism.

Analysis Essay #3 Guidelines You must research only one Celebrity (actor or tv personality or a Musician or sports figure) who has been in the news (within the last ten years) actively engaged in advocating a social or environmental issue and discuss their activism and analyze WHY they have a platform to persuade an audience. No politicians or activists. Choose only ONE issue that they are advocating. Research 3 articles/sources that provide different views on their activism. Page length: 4 Full pages of text min. (This does not include your image page on the 5th page or the works cited page on the 6th page.)

Celebrities and Activism.

Include an image that relates to your subject engaging in activism on the 5th page. (Note on image: The image should be small in file size – less than 500K and take no more than 1/2 of a page. Try using this free online Photo Editor to reduce the image size ( Try using LUNAPIC ). Save your image as a Jpeg and insert it into the 4th page of your essay. You must include a correct MLA citation for the image.) Must include a Works Cited page. Work Cited page does not count toward your min. word or page count. The essay must conform to the MLA format.

Celebrities and Activism.

You should not focus on the issue they advocate but more on their activism and why celebrities have a platform to persuade. Provide evidence from at least three articles/sources. At least one of your sources should be YouTube videos (an interview or news clip) about their social or environmental issue. You must cite your direct quotes with the correct MLA in-text citation format. Prewriting and Research steps: Read and research unfamiliar material and ideas. Use the internet, library databases, etc., to look up words and other concepts that you know little to nothing about. Read the articles for details and highlight the main ideas.

Celebrities and Activism.

Describe the article in your own words. Avoid turning the focus inward. Avoid phrases like “I think” or “in my opinion.” You should stay away from the first person completely. By identifying something as your own opinion, you end up weakening them in an academic sense. Do not focus on the summary. You need to provide enough summary of the work for your critique to have a sensible context, but most of the essay should still contain your analysis of the articles. Free-write and mind map your ideas. Compose at least two drafts and edit for clarity, sentence cohesion, and grammar errors.

Celebrities and Activism.

Proof with Grammarly.com No first-person (use of “I”) in this essay! Essay Structure (follow this essay structure!) Introduction paragraph: State something interesting about the topic (social or environmental issue) you are researching and your celebrity’s activism with this particular issue. Provide a few sentences about the cultural context of the issue. Cultural context refers to social and political factors surrounding the issue of celebrity activism This background information informs our deeper understanding of the issue of celebrity activism in question and allows us to analyze, rather than summarize, what we are studying. In 2-3 sentences, state your thesis. https://youtu.be/bWs7GEoyfOw

Paper details: Overview You just received a memo from the Project Manager with updates and a request for a process flow diagram. Read the memo below. Memo from the PM: We have decided to buy space on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and maintain our own e-commerce applications and databases there. This was based partly on your recommendation and the recommendation of the other team members. What does this mean for you? We’ll need your part of the project to go into a Business Requirements Document for the project plan to be sent up to the CEO for final approval.

Process flow diagram and description.

The CIO and I will review your work, so please be detailed in your responses so that we can allocate resources appropriately. Instructions For this week, you will need to create a process flow diagram for the project plan, showing how you want things to go with the new system. You can build on previous design work you’ve done in this area or start from scratch. You have all the Microsoft products available to you in the marketing department, so feel free to use any Microsoft product to create the process flow diagram.

Visio is very popular among IT folks, so feel free to create your process flow diagram using Visio, but you can also use MS Word, PowerPoint, or whatever you’re comfortable with, as long as the output is a PDF or a Microsoft document.

Process flow diagram and description.

Your process flow diagram should include each of the following elements: Easy-to-read formatting, including a font size that is large enough to easily read, simple language that is easy to understand quickly, and a clearly visible title that identifies the process being diagrammed. A clear start and end to the process flow. All items are in the proper sequence with arrows or other directional objects used to indicate that sequence. Flow is logical throughout. Distinct shapes for each necessary action, identified clearly through a legend. Take a look at the Example Process Flow Diagram [PDF] for reference.

Process flow diagram and description.

In addition to the process flow diagram, you will also need to use the MS Word template to submit a written description of the diagram to ensure that the PM and any others reading the diagram will know what is being communicated. Your description, much like your diagram, will be specific to the process you are supporting in the project based on your area of expertise. Your description should respond to the questions below that align to your role in the project and should address all parts of the process flow diagram: Data Analytics: How data will be stored, created, modified, and deleted. Include all the requirements such as data security, data integrity, resilience, etc.

Process flow diagram and description.

Data Management: Physical storage and security. Backup and disaster recovery plan, access control, etc. Cybersecurity: Access control, malware concerns, physical and logical access, forensic investigation, etc. IT Project Manager: Project control, PM methodologies, scope control, end-user input, training, etc. Networking: Physical and logical topologies, network infrastructure build-out and expansion, required equipment and physical media acquisition and control, etc. Software Developers: Applications needed, input from end-users, design process, steps of the SDLC for app development, etc.

Process flow diagram and description.

Note: Since this is the capstone class, work you submitted to a previous class is permitted but must be 100% original work created by you and not shared with anyone else. The best process, therefore, is to build on previous work and adapt to your fictitious company for this ongoing project. As a reminder, for this assignment, you are submitting two deliverables which are 100% original: Process flow diagram in PDF format. A written memo using the provided MS Word template that includes an image of your process flow diagram.https://youtu.be/81fGpNBhHPk

Building a Case Study Analysis. 2022 Best

Building a Case Study Analysis.

This assignment focuses on building a case study analysis. These case study assignments are meant for you to explore and research outside of your textbook, but you can still cite your textbook when needed.

Building a Case Study Analysis.

Overview Instructions Building a Case Study Analysis Choose ONE of the three international topics each week and apply the guidelines: These case study assignments are meant for you to explore and research outside of your textbook, but you can still cite your textbook when needed. · Week 2: (a) Drivers of Globalization, (b) Outsourcing, or (c) Political / Legal Systems · Week 3: (a) Cultural Differences, (b) Corporate Responsibility, or (c) Economic Development · Week 5: (a) Global Expansion, (b) Franchising, or (c) Localization How to Build the Case Responses Find a minimum of three news articles discussing this issue.

Building a Case Study Analysis.

The articles should be news articles, written by journalists for publication in newspapers or on news, websites (cannot be blogs or commercial sites). They may also be transcripts of news stories that were broadcast on television or radio. The article can be different versions of the same issue published in different countries. Many articles from other countries are supplied to library databases from the BBC Monitoring Service, which does no reporting of its own but collects articles from around the world and translates them into English (if they are originally in another language.)

Building a Case Study Analysis.

For these articles, there will be an indication of which newspaper, website, radio station, etc., was the original source of the article, and in which country it is located. This would be the country of origin. Your responses should be well-rounded and analytical, and should not just provide a conclusion or an opinion without explaining the reason for the choice. For full credit, you need to use the material from the week’s lectures, text and/or discussions when responding to the questions. It is important that you incorporate the question into your response (i.e., summarize the case in your introduction) and explain the principle(s) or concept(s) from the text that underlies your judgment.

Building a Case Study Analysis.

For each Case (or critically thinking and discussion question) you should provide at least two references in addition to the textbook in APA format (in-text citations and references as described in detail in the syllabus). Each answer should be double-spaced in 12 pt. Use the following Headings and length in your paper: Prepare a case study report that has three main parts: 1. Summary and Overview of the issue 2. Compare and contrast the perspective on the issue. How are the articles similar or different on how they expose the issues? What are the explicit and implicit issues?

Building a Case Study Analysis.

3. Taking from the emergent literature (only journal articles or textbook), what are some of the implications and recommendations for conducting international business. 4. Write at least two questions that can be exposed (still without an answer) from analyzing this issue. These inquiries can be questions/issues that you were not able to answer or understand. Clarify where or how do you believe you can obtain this information. Mention specific sources (do not simply say, “Searching on the Internet”). https://youtu.be/jerRxaeUL2M

I would like to see a paragraph dedicated to this portion of the assignment.https://youtu.be/SUICc8B7HVo
