Research project- Journal response

 Research Project description

1`.  This week you will start thinking about your primary research project–read through the instructions, watch the videos and share your thoughts through the Discussion Board and Journal activities. Your Primary aim of Project is on the SAME topic as your annotated bib. Although you may shift your focus and research questions if needed. 2. Review the contents of the folder “Resources to Support Primary Research,” before you read the guidelines for the project. 3.  After you review the Primary Research Project Guidelines, post to the Discussion Board by Sunday midnight. Consequently respond to two other posts by Sunday midnight. (That way you have a little more time to reflect on what questions you want to ask.) 4. You should submit your research proposal (research plan) which is Part One of Project #3 by Sunday at midnight in your Google Doc. 5.

Further Guidelines

I am continuing to grade Annotated Bibliographies as they are submitted in your Google Doc. Once you receive a grade you may revise your Annotated Bib, but you must include a Revision Memo posted above the revised version that explains the changes you made and why you made them (please tell me what and why you needed to improve the areas you worked on).  I will look at revised Annotated Bibs over the next two weeks as I give feedback on your Primary Research docs–all should be in the same Google Doc. 5.  Write a Journal Response explaining what kinds of questions you may have with regard to creating, compiling, or writing your Primary Research Project.  Post in Google Doc by Sunday at midnight. 6.  Set up a time to conference with your instructor/tutor about your Primary Research Project. 17.

Primary Projects are due in a few weeks: target due date March 29.  This means you have all of the next two weeks to complete your Primary Research Project #3, then you will start your final Synthesis paper and presentation:  Project #4.Journal Response: Questions about Primary Research Write a Journal Response explaining what kinds of questions you may have with regard to creating, compiling, or writing your Primary Project.
