Description of social work theory
A few things to clarify as you work on Assessment 3: Practice Scenario Theory Report. The purpose of this assessment task is for you to demonstrate theoretical and ethical knowledge that guides you in working with Rana. You are not coming to a conclusion or a point. You are solely discussing how you will apply theory, knowledge, values, ways of working that are together with the content. And themes that we have explored in this unit. Please ensure that you are demonstrating a collaborative and person-centred way of working. The two theories that you are choosing are out of. Person-Centred Approach Solution-Focused Approach Behavioural Theory Cognitive Behavioural Approach.
Narrative Theory and Approach Anti-Oppressive Approach Empowerment Approach. I require you to explain and apply each theory and then make a link/s to the foundational knowledge that you form around. Ecological Systems Theory and Strengths-Based Approach. The written summary is 200 words, and i also require you to complete an Ecomap and Service User Profile for Rana. The summary requires you to identify personal and contextual factors – not elaborate or assume – that are present in the Practice Scenario.
In the Cultural Understanding and Values and Ethics components we are expecting links to the AASW Code of Ethics and AASW Practice Standards, as well as Cultural Humility, Intersectionality, and perhaps the Intersecting Interpretive Lenses that we looked at in Week 1. You are required to identify, address, and integrate feedback from previous assessment task. We encourage you to hone your referencing skills in line with the Harvard Referencing Guide. Everything only needs to be done by harvard referencing style and intext reference needed for every line. Moreover, Only use these reading and criteria to complete the task. Finally please follow the rubric.
