However, there are many other types of financial institutions in the United States that are important to understand. You will be required to prepare a pre-recorded 5 to 7 minute presentation on your chosen industry. You have the choice of using Zoom or Screen-Cast-O-Matic to record your presentation. The presentation must include the following information: Title Page: Financial Institution (an industry, not a specific financial institution). Choose from Commercial Banking, Community (Retail) Banking, Internet Banks, Savings and Loan Associations, Credit Unions, Insurance Companies, Investment Companies (Mutual Funds), Brokerage (Securities) Firms, or Mortgage Brokers.

Page 1: What is the nature of the industry? What products and services do they provide and who is their primary customer (target market)? Page 2: Major Companies in the Industry: List the top 5 companies in this particular industry in terms of asset size. Page 3: Financial Information: Sales, Profits and Assets for 2019, 2020, 2021. Make a comment as to whether these figures are increasing or decreasing and the reason for the trend. Page 4, 5, and 6: Find three current articles (nothing older than 2018) and prepare one slide each explaining the major point of the article. The article should talk about current trends in the industry.
