Ethical dilemma on Medical marijuana. Marijuana Paper instructions: Instructions First, return to your topic chosen in the week three assignment. Answer this question: What are the personal and/or communal ethical factors that may be involved in determining the moral position of either side in that debate? Next, articulate and then evaluate the ethical positions using Kantian ethics (that is, the categorical imperative) relative to the long standing debate (that is your topic chosen in the week three assignment). Finally, create a complete annotated bibliography for 5 academic scholarly sources. You will annotate each source. The sources should be relevant to your topic chosen in the week three assignment.

Include the following: Publication details Annotation (a detailed reading of the source) Each annotation section should include the following: Summarize key points and identify key terms (using quotation marks, and citing a page in parentheses). Describe the controversies or “problems” raised by the articles. State whether you agree or disagree and give reasons. Locate one or two quotations to be used in the final research project. Evaluate the ways in which this article is important and has helped you focus your understanding. Use the following as a model: APA Reference Mezirow, J. (2003). Transformative learning as discourse.

Journal of Transformative Education, 1(1), 58-63. Annotation Example In this article, Mezirow (2003) makes a distinction between “instrumental” and “communicative” learning. “Instrumental learning” refers to those processes which measure and gauge learning, such as tests, grades, comments, quizzes, attendance records and the like. “Communicative learning,” on the other hand, refers to understanding created over time between individuals in what Mezirow calls “critical-dialectical-discourse,” (p. 59) which is a fancy way of saying, important conversation between 2 or more speakers.

Ethical dilemma on Medical marijuana.

Another key idea Mezirow discusses is “transformative learning,” (p. 61) which changes the mind, the heart, the values and beliefs of people so that they may act better in the world. Mezirow argues that “hungry, desperate, homeless, sick, destitute, and intimidated people obviously cannot participate fully and freely in discourse” (p. 59). On the one hand, he is right: there are some people who cannot fully engage because their crisis is so long and deep, they are prevented. But, I don’t think Mezirow should make the blanket assumption that everyone in unfortunate circumstances is incapable of entering the discourse meaningfully.

One thing is certain: if we gave as much attention to the non-instrumental forms of intelligence–like goodness, compassion, forgiveness, wonder, self-motivation, creativity, humor, love, and other non-measured forms of intelligence in our school curriculums, we’d see better people, actors in the world, and interested investigators than we currently have graduating high school. Intrusion detection and incident response 2022 Best

Intrusion detection and incident response

This assignment involves reading Cliff Stoll’s book, Cuckoo’s Egg (any edition), and write a 10 page paper on the intrusion detection and incident response techniques used in the book.

Intrusion detection and incident response

Read Cliff Stoll’s book, Cuckoo’s Egg (any edition), and write a 7 to 10 page paper on the book. Paper details: GOAL: Read Cliff Stoll’s book, Cuckoo’s Egg (any edition), and write a 7 to 10 page paper on the intrusion detection and incident response techniques used in the book. Identify proper techniques (what will you use as your reference or base framework?) used and those that did not work. This is not a book report—I know the story—it is an analysis. GRADING: This project is worth 100 points. The grade will come from your paper only.

Intrusion detection and incident response

Papers that clearly describe the techniques and provide an analysis of how the techniques led to the capture of the hacker will be graded higher. Papers that are well formatted, properly referenced, and cohesive will score higher. Writing a book report with little to no analysis will score much lower. REQUIREMENT: Papers will be 7 to 10 pages in length, one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman or Calibri, size 12. The title page should clearly state the title of your paper will include your name.

Intrusion detection and incident response

The title page does not count as one of the pages for the report. The bibliography will not count as one of the pages required for turn in. All references will be properly cited—you should have more than one. I recommend using inline references in your paper. More references integrated into your paper tells me you did better research and analysis. https://youtu.be/IEmZ_cjc76E

Diversity at the senior leadership level QB4005 Best

Gender diversity at the senior leadership level

For this assignment we will discuss three best approaches to improve gender diversity at the senior leadership level in international organizations in Qatar.

Diversity at the senior leadership level

QB4005: Understanding and Managing Behaviour in Organisations.  SEPTEMBER 2022 Assignment 1 (40% weighting) The task: Write an ESSAY of 1500 words (+/- 10%) excluding bibliography on the following topic: Discuss, with appropriate theories and concepts, what you regard as three best approaches to improve gender diversity at the senior leadership level in international organizations in Qatar. Essay topic background: Studies have shown that gender diversity in organisational leadership benefits organisations and societies from various perspectives.

Diversity at the senior leadership level

These studies have, however, underlined that despite significant shifts towards greater acceptance of women in leadership roles over the last 50 years, women are still underrepresented in organisational leadership (to varying degrees) everywhere in the world. A range of remedial solutions have been considered in different countries, from focusing on education that abolishes the traditional gender roles, to setting gender quotas for boards of directors by legislative bodies. You task is to critically analyze what you regard as the most important solution that can tackle the problem of gender diversity in senior leadership positions in organisations.

Diversity at the senior leadership level

Important points to note:  You should refer to examples of real-life company/ country case studies in your essay.  You should justify your choice of solution by, among all, justifying why it is the best way and what you regard as ‘the best’ in this context (e.g. is it the fairest? the quickest? the most enduring?)  Your essay should adopt a conventional essay structure i.e. introduction, main body of essay and discussion followed by conclusion  You must indicate the wordcount on your essay. Please note, for every 100 words extra, the mark will be deducted by 1 CGS point  Please use the Harvard internal citation style. For example, (Ehsani, 2010, p.135).

Early Native Americans 1492-1500s.

For this assignment, you will analyze both primary and secondary sources to present a historical argument. You must present your own interpretation of what you see in the documents. Narrative style book reports are unacceptable and will result in a C or less. Remember to present your thesis at the beginning of your paper, clearly stating point by point what you will be arguing. The paragraphs that follow should support your argument with a strong introductory sentence. At the end of your paper, you will return to your thesis, and bring your argument to a successful conclusion.

Early Native Americans 1492-1500s.

For more details on how to present an argument and properly write an academic paper, see the lecture, “How to Write.” Your first paper will be 5-7 pages in length, typed and double spaced in a 12-point font with footnotes and bibliography made according to the Chicago Manual of Style, and presented with standard one-inch margins. For your sources, you must use a minimum of five scholarly sources that are either books or articles. These can be accessed digitally through the university library. With the exception of articles I have linked to Canvas, you may not use any other outside websites.

Early Native Americans 1492-1500s.

In addition, title pages and the bibliography also do not count towards the minimum page length requirement for the paper. Only in extreme circumstances will late papers be accepted without penalty, and only if I receive notification by email a day before the paper is due. Unexcused late papers will receive a grade reduction for each day that they are late. For your first paper, you will write an essay on your choice of topic from weeks 1 to 6, ranging from the Native Americans up through the South. When analyzing your choice of subject, think about what makes it unique. What is your argument? How did your topic impact North America? https://youtu.be/olTClLF9JuQ

The essays must target 1250 words, and should begin with a clear and easily identifiable thesis statement. All essays must have a suitable title. Footnotes are required.
