Part I: Assessment Tool Once you have chosen your organization, you will complete an assessment of the organization by doing the following: 1.) Choose the type of assessment tool you want to use from the options below. Each is related to social justice. Pick one you are either the most interested in exploring or one that you feel may be relevant or even an area of need at your organization.

You can research/consult: 1.)The organization’s website 2.)News articles about the organization or press releases (e.g. an announcement of new leadership) 3.)The organization’s social media 4.)People who work for the organization in informal interviews via phone (or email, but keep in mind that individuals may be slow to respond over email) 5.)In-person visit 3.) Once you have completed the assessment of your organization, proceed to Part II.

Part II: Organizational Reflection You will write a reflection paper on your organization and completing this tool. The reflection paper must: Be 2-3 pages in APA style, 12-point font, double-spaced with 1-inch. Cite 1-2 sources from the organization you’re assessing (e.g. the organization’s website or an interview with someone in the organization). You also must use at least two sources from the Organizations modules’ content (e.g. Ahmed), in addition to citing any of the organizations’ materials. This totals 3-4 sources all together. Please address the following questions in your reflection paper once you complete the assessment tool:
