Critical Thinking Exercises. Marijuana use and California Law. The Federal Congress enacted the Controlled Substance Act, 21 U.S.C. §801 (CSA), as part of the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970. CSA establishes or designates certain drugs as “controlled substances” and makes it unlawful to knowingly or intentionally “manufacture, distribute, dispense, or possess with intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense, a controlled substance.” Essentially, the Federal Government has regulated the use, manufacturing, and dispensing of marijuana at the federal level and made it federal crime. In response to the federal legislation, California voters passed two proposition which were both passed a few years apart from each other.

Marijuana and California Law.

The first, the Compassionate Use Act (CaCUA) and the second, California Proposition 64, the California Marijuana Legalization Initiative (CMLI), which passed in 2016. Proposition 64 legalized the recreational use of marijuana for adults aged 21 years or older, permitting smoking in a private home or at a business licensed for on-site marijuana consumption. Up to 28.5 grams of marijuana and 8 grams of concentrated marijuana are legal to possess under this measure. An individual is permitted to grow up to six plants within a private home as long as the area is locked and not visible from a public place.

Marijuana and California Law.

In conjunction with the CaCUA which was intended “to ensure that patients and their primary caregivers who obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes upon the recommendation of a physician are not subject to criminal prosecution or sanction.” Ashley owns and operates The Smokehouse, a small local marijuana dispensary in a small town in California. She grows, cultivates and sells her organic marijuana locally at her small dispensary. She has a small, but loyal customer base. The federal government, through the direction of the Federal Attorney General, raided The Smokehouse, seized all of Ashley grow supplies, product and has arrested Ashley for violating the Federal Controlled Substances Act.

Marijuana and California Law.

Ashley mainMarijuana and California Law. tains that she cannot be prosecuted under federal law because she has complied with all state and local laws regarding marijuana manufacturing and dispensing. She also maintains that the federal government has exceeded its regulatory power under the United States Constitution. Is she correct? Please discuss? When answering please consider the following: What power does the federal government have to regulate the State of California and its residents? Where does the federal regulatory power come from?https://youtu.be/vX6td_Mi-vg

Mechanical and fall hazards.

Choose one mechanical hazard and one fall hazard. The hazards can be from a workplace you are familiar with, from the textbook, or from an article you find in the CSU Online Library. Create a paper containing two parts. The first part will be for the mechanical hazard, and the second part will be for the fall hazard. Complete the following elements for each part of your paper: Describe the processes that create the hazard. Perform a risk assessment using a risk-assessment matrix or a risk-assessment decision tree. Explain the steps required to perform the risk assessment. You can choose a matrix or tree that was covered in the lesson or textbook, or create your own.

Mechanical and fall hazards.

The risk assessment should be based on the assumption that no controls have been installed to date. Evaluate the acceptability of the risk based on your risk assessment. Recommend any controls that you believe would reduce the risk associated with the hazard. Perform a second risk assessment based on your recommended controls. Your completed assignment should be a minimum of three pages in length, not counting the title and reference pages. You are required to use at least two outside sources, one of which must come from the CSU Online Library. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying APA citations. At least 4 sources. https://youtu.be/z62qFhfT3a4

Comprehensive child Assessment. 2023 Best

This paper explores comprehensive child Assessment. When you think of assessing a child, you might think of speaking with the parent or caregiver to gain important history and insight into behavior. You might think of reviewing child development records.

Comprehensive child Assessment.

Paper details: When you think of assessing a child, you might think of speaking with the parent or caregiver to gain important history and insight into behavior. You might think of reviewing child development records. You might think of screening for adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). And you might also think about playing with the child as a way to engage and understand them. It is not likely that just one of these methods would be sufficient. A comprehensive understanding of a client’s presenting problem depends on the use of multiple types of assessment models.

Comprehensive child Assessment.

Each model gathers different information based on theoretical perspective and intent. An assessment that focuses on one area alone not only misses vital information that would be helpful in planning intervention but may encourage a biased evaluation that could lead you to inappropriate goals. In this Assignment, you review a child case and explain how multiple assessments could help present a comprehensive, holistic view of the child and situation. Work Breakdown Structure 2023 Best

Wk 6 – Apply: Summative Assessment: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) As a project manager, your projects may be allocated the resources needed by the organization’s PMO.

Work Breakdown Structure

Wk 6 – Apply: Summative Assessment: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) As a project manager, your projects may be allocated the resources needed by the organization’s PMO. You are likely to be most concerned with securing the resources you need for your project, but the PMO is going to be focused on allocating the resources available to the right projects at the right time. When you articulate the project deliverables and the associated tasks and work packages clearly, the scope of the project is well-defined and helps to ensure delivery of the project outcomes successfully and within the project schedule.

Work Breakdown Structure

In this assignment, you will show your project scoping skills when you prepare a project summary and work breakdown structure (WBS) for PMO review so your project’s resources can be allocated to meet your project schedule. Consider what the PMO needs from you so that your project gets what it needs from the PMO. Select 1 project from a case study, such as: Greyson Corporation using information from the Greyson Corporation Case Study (Kerzner, 2022) Crosby Manufacturing Corporation using information from the Crosby Manufacturing Corporation Case Study (Kerzner, 2022) The case study you used in PM/570 for your project proposal.

Work Breakdown Structure

Another case study of your choice Use the case study you selected and prepare a WBS that you will submit to the PMO. Summarize or outline the project’s critical factors, including the following: Project details: Project name Project sponsor Estimated start date Estimated date of completion Project scope description, including what is in and out of scope List of project deliverables: Project acceptance criteria Project constraints Project assumptions Consider the key takeaways you learned in your course textbook, The DNA of Strategy Execution. These may help you consider what information a PMO will be looking for. Reference the textbook, as needed.

Work Breakdown Structure

Prepare a WBS for this project in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or another program of your choice and include a detailed list of major project deliverables, subtasks, and work packages. Additionally: Consider the work needed to deliver each major deliverable or phase of the project. Include at least 2 phases with main tasks or deliverables that you can break down into subtasks and work packages. Cite any references used and format citation and references according to APA guidelines. https://youtu.be/akO2Lf1fHmM
