For this assignment we will explore different historical moments From the Mesoamerican times, to the Spanish conquest, manifest destiny and the Mexican American war, to modern times. As well as other societal factors e.g. religion, culture, write an essay that examines the development of historical continuity in the establishment of Mexican-American communities in the United States.

Chicano studies. Historical Continuity is the idea that history progresses and changes, but there exists elements of previous historical moments that persist in every age. Look at different historical moments From Mesoamérican times, to the Spanish conquest, manifest destiny and the Mexican American war, to modern times. As well as other societal factors e.g. religion, culture, write an essay that examines the development of historical continuity in the establishment of Mexican-American communities in the United States.
