Attitudes always predict behaviors.
Imagine that you attend a seminar on the topic of determinants of purposeful Behaviour. The presenter says: “Attitudes always predict behaviors”. Discuss this statement with reference to relevant theories and literature related to material covered in lectures.” The maximum length of answers is 2000 words (excluding title page and reference list). Your answer should include at least 5 references (you do not need to provide summaries of 5 studies however, it is expected that you summarize any key studies you include). There must be a clear introduction and conclusion in your essay. Specific Guidance – The essay title asks you to judge the relationship between attitudes and behaviors in humans.
Attitudes always predict behaviors.
In answering this question, you should draw on examples of attitude and behaviour relationship, and attitude change theories and provide an argument in response to this statement. – Whatever argument you choose (e.g. attitudes always predict behaviors, attitudes do not always predict behaviours, attitudes can predict behaviours in some cases), be sure to support your claims with evidence from research. – Refer to specific examples of research (not anecdote) to support your argument. It is not appropriate to refer to Lectures, magazines, websites, or Wikipedia at University. We expect you to use original primary sources (e.g., peer-reviewed journal articles) or reputable secondary sources (e.g., monographs, textbooks, literature reviews).
Attitudes always predict behaviors.
Give concise summaries of any key studies you mention and consider the strengths/limitations of the studies you discuss. – Academic essays should be written in a formal style of writing, so avoid contractions (for instance, I’m, it’s, or aren’t) and colloquialisms (for example, ‘awesome’, ‘cool’, ‘pretty good’). Use full sentences and check your essays for spelling and grammar errors. Be sure that you have punctuated your essay appropriately (e.g., correct use of apostrophes). Do not use ampersands (‘&’) in the text body. Ampersands should only be used in parentheses when referencing.
Attitudes always predict behaviors
The American Psychological Association (APA) Style guidelines (2020) state that the use of the pronoun ‘I’ is more appropriate than ‘we’ when writing by yourself (without co-authors). Editorial ‘we’ (used to refer to ‘people in general’ rather than a group of authors) should be avoided. There is nothing inherently ‘unscientific’ about using the pronoun ‘I’. Sentences containing ‘I’ are only ‘unscientific’ when they contain personal opinions (which are subjective) (e.g., ‘I believe’, ‘I think’). Personal opinions (unsupported by evidence) have no place in scientific writing.
Attitudes always predict behaviors.
Saying what you are doing or did (an objective fact) is not ‘unscientific’ (e.g., “In this essay I have described a series of studies…”) and is completely appropriate in scientific writing. – Paragraphs should be self-contained in that the reader should be able to understand each paragraph in isolation. Paragraphs should have a clear and identifiable focus, which should be obvious from the first sentence of the paragraph. Paragraphs should contain evidence and/or arguments to substantiate the point that is being presented. Paragraphs should end with a summary sentence that does not claim anything beyond what has been presented in the paragraph.
Attitudes always predict behaviors.
Presentation Requirements Essays come in all shapes and sizes, but there are a few things that good academic essays usually have in common: an introduction; a main argument or series of arguments, backed up with appropriate examples and references to other researchers; a conclusion. Your essay should also include a title page and a Reference List. The title page and Reference List are not included in the word count. Please include a cover sheet with the following details: a. Your student ID (please do not add your name to the document) b. Your course c. Assessment title. https://youtu.be/Eg2XLfGBnjI

Mental health and conditions of Women
Paper instructions: Research proposal in 350 words with appropriate citations! The research proposal should explain my goal, to take notice of the mental health and conditions of women and families (as mostly this genocide impacted women and children) in Rohingya Refugee Camp, how I will record stories of intimate wartime stories, how happened this genocide from the perspective of the people who suffered from it, how it happened and what conditions do they have now. How it influenced their mental health?
Mental health and conditions of Women
It is very important to use scholarly peer-reviewed articles as well as books about this genocide. 1) a brief introduction, how in “the connections class” War and Peace” we were introduced to the history of The Rohingya genocide” by the Burmese military. But we do not know the continuation of this story, as what happened next? So I want to research what experienced people from their narratives and how women’s rights were violated during this genocide? What do these women feel now and how hard do they raise children? 2) MOST IMPORTANT PART What does the lack of women-friendly environment inside camps look like? In which forms?
Mental health and conditions of Women
Lack of gender norms and malpractices? Breakdown of family ties? And increased number of gender-based violence against women? In this unique study, I will be able to listen to their narratives from their mouths. In the end, I will present different ways in which NGOs and the government can promote gender mainstreaming towards bringing refugee women into the community decision-making process along with raising awareness among the Rohingya community. https://youtu.be/i4Q_bL-63oc

Domestic intelligence collection 2023 Best
This assignment involves writing a research paper to address domestic intelligence collection and analysis of your selected terrorist group in 5-7 full pages of content (not counting title or reference pages).
Domestic intelligence collection
Develop a research paper to address domestic intelligence collection and analysis of your selected terrorist group from your Red Cell Midterm Assignment. Building on the information that you started in your midterm, prepare a new research paper that addresses which intelligence collection disciplines and agencies are essential to effectively collect on and analyze information about the red cell threat you chose in 5-7 full pages of content (not counting title or reference pages).
2. Domestic Intelligence Collection and Analysis: Specify the most effective intelligence collection and analysis methods against the terrorist organization likely to conduct an attack within the United States that you selected by clearing answering all 3 of the following:
Domestic intelligence collection
A) What domestic intelligence collection efforts would be best utilized on the organization you selected? (Intelligence Collection disciplines discussed in week 5) Do not focus on overseas intelligence collection programs; this is an HLSS course and we are focused ONLY on collection within the U.S. homeland. B) Which members of the IC would be the best collectors of intelligence on this particular organization within the country? You may address agencies that collect overseas and within the homeland as the terrorism nexus overlaps both domains.
Domestic intelligence collection
You may also consider some of the field agencies of DHS (since DHS I&A is just an office and does not collect) as some of the operating components do collect like ICE, CBP, USCG, and the Secret Service (who does focus on terrorism financing). Again, this is a Homeland Security course, so focus on the agencies that can support the homeland (like the FBI), NOT primarily overseas intelligence collection of foreign targets. Clearly focus your paper only on domestic intelligence and law enforcement and remember the CIA does not collect intelligence on Americans domestically, they are a foreign intelligence agency.
Domestic intelligence collection
See the readings from week 5 as well as this link to Executive Order 12333 (2008) https://fas.org/irp/offdocs/eo/eo-12333-2008.pdf. However, the NSA is very different as they can and do collect both foreign and domestic communications (when authorized by a court [like FISA] or under certain conditions by the Attorney General to support the FBI). See https://www.nsa.gov/about/faqs/sigint-faqs.shtml C) What intelligence analysis strategies would be the most effective and why? (choose only from the analytical strategies discussed in the week 6 lesson and specifically the reading U.S. Army (2020). ATP 2-33.4 Intelligence Analysis.
Domestic intelligence collection
Remember that critical thinking (brainstorming) and situational logic DO NOT in themselves constitute an analytical approach — be specific and pick at least two specific strategies you think will help analyze what can be collected on a clandestine terrorist group attempting to attack the U.S. homeland. Select at least one Diagnostic Structured Analytic technique from ATP 2-33.4 Chapter 5 and at least one Advanced (Contrarian or Imaginative) structured analytic technique from ATP 2-33.4
Chapter 6. Note: Only focus here in this progress paper on intelligence collection disciplines, the most appropriate IC agencies to play a role, and the most effective analytical techniques to employ in this scenario.
Domestic intelligence collection
As a paper for this HLSS course, these questions are to be answered as it relates to collecting and analyzing intelligence on the terrorist group plans and activities within the U.S. as they prepare to attack. Do not address how to stop this attack, that will be the topic of your recommendations in your final paper due in week 7. That final paper will address what law enforcement and security officials here in the homeland can do to detect, identify, and warn on and potentially stop the hypothetical attack. https://youtu.be/9jeiUzRiiVI

Task: You will write a brief, direct approach email to someone in your professional field who you would be interested in meeting for an informational interview. Your email will need to follow the direct approach structure, include a clear and specific subject line, and tailor its content for its audience, circumstances, and purpose. Follow the guidelines for formatting emails contained in Module 3. Don’t forget to add a signature block at the bottom of your email! Your email needs to explain why you’re writing, identify who you are and your connection to the industry, demonstrate your awareness and appreciation of your audience and their experience, and politely request that they contact you for an interview.
Direct Approach Email
Context: What is an informational interview? It is an informal conversation with someone working in an area that interests you who will give you information and advice. It is important to remember that an informational interview is NOT a job interview. Its purpose is not to gain employment, but to gain insight about a particular field or position and tips for how to prepare for and enter a career. Informational interviews also help you build professional relationships and create a network of contacts who may help you find job leads in the future.
Direct Approach Email
Steps to Writing: Step 1: Do some online research to identify someone in your field you might interview (remember you are not actually required to interview them)! You might look at the website of a particular company or organization you’d like to work at, a career-focused website like LinkedIn, or use keywords on Google. You can also consider writing to a professor in your program, even if you don’t know them yet. Step 2: Complete Journal Entry #2: PAM Analysis for Informational Interview Request.
Direct Approach Email
This will help you develop a deeper understanding of your audience, circumstances, and purpose. (Link to Journals on left hand menu of course page) Step 3: Complete a draft of your email and revise for organization and tone, making sure it’s properly formatted as an email. Writing a persuasive Letter. 2023 Best
This assignment involves writing a persuasive Letter. For this exercise, you will be writing a letter to an appropriate person (supervisor, official, administrator, etc.) and seeking very clearly, as did Mr. Adams, to propose a change or a solution to a problem as you see it. You’ll wish to clearly describe the issue, and the solution you seek.
Writing a persuasive Letter.
Exercise During last class, we read and discussed together a well written persuasive letter by a non-traditional Arizona State University student named Gordon Adams. Mr. Adams’ letter was very well constructed, and it was easy to see that he had anticipated the questions that his audience members would have and sought to address them. You, like Gordon Adams, almost certainly know of a meaningful issue that you would like to change as well. It may be a situation at work, within your community at large, within your residential community (neighborhood), or within your school.
Writing a persuasive Letter.
I wish to note that this should be a problem that is capable of being amended by the party to whom the letter is addressed—for example, President Wilson alone is not capable of single handedly constructing new parking lots for campuses.
We will be discussing the different kinds of evidence which may be used to great advantage in a persuasive piece: facts, statistics, examples, authorities, anecdotes, scenarios, case studies, textual evidence and visuals. Think carefully about what evidence is best suited to convincing your reader(s) that your proposal is valid and worthwhile. This letter should be written in standard letter format omitting the heading and inside address: with date, salutation, body paragraphs, and complimentary close. https://youtu.be/M1irs-qY7Uw
